Terms of Sale

These terms govern your purchase from Keyframe Labs. Please read them before ordering — placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who you are buying from

Keyframe Labs is a trading name of:

We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged on your order and the price shown is the total price payable.

2. What you are buying

Each product is personalised. You upload a photograph of a face, and our system generates an original anime character based on it. That artwork is then printed onto the product you chose, or supplied as a digital file.

You will not see the artwork before it is made. This is deliberate and is the core of the product — we call it the blind reveal. By ordering you accept that you are buying an unseen, made-to-order item and that you cannot approve the design in advance.

Every generated character is unique. We cannot reproduce a previous result exactly, and no two orders produce the same artwork.

3. Your photograph

You confirm that:

• The photograph is of you, or of someone who has given you permission to use it.
• If the person in the photograph is under 18, you are their parent or legal guardian.
• You have the right to upload it, and doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights.

We may reject a photograph that is unusable (too dark, too small, obscured, no clear face) or that we reasonably believe breaches the above. If we reject it we will tell you and give you the chance to send another. How we handle your photograph is set out in our Privacy Policy.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we email you an order confirmation. Payment is taken in full at checkout, in pounds sterling, via Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

If we cannot fulfil your order for any reason, we will tell you and refund you in full.

5. Delivery

We aim to render your piece within 5–7 days and ship within a further 2–3 days. We deliver to the United Kingdom and Ireland. You will receive a tracking link when your order leaves the factory, where the carrier provides one.

These timings are estimates, not guarantees. If delivery will take materially longer we will tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Cancellation, returns and faults

Because these items are personalised, the standard 14-day right to change your mind does not apply. Your rights if something is wrong with the item are unaffected. This is important and is set out in full on our Returns & Cancellations page — please read it before you order.

7. Intellectual property

You keep all rights in the photograph you upload. You own the physical item you buy, and you may use the generated artwork for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

We retain ownership of the underlying artistic style, characters, lore and templates. Reselling the artwork, or using it commercially, requires our written permission.

We will not publish your artwork or your photograph anywhere unless you tick the sharing option at checkout. That choice is entirely optional, has no effect on your order, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

8. Our liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.

The generated artwork is an artistic interpretation. Likeness varies with photo quality and is inherently subjective — a result you find unflattering is not a fault.

9. Complaints

Email hello@keyframesaga.com and we will acknowledge within 3 working days. If we cannot resolve things between us, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme, or bring a claim in the courts.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts. Nothing here affects your rights as a consumer.
